Enter the Schüco group.

So...

Who is Schüco?

Schüco is a leading supplier of high-quality window, door and facade systems made from aluminium and steel. Their products are used worldwide and meet the highest requirements of design, comfort, security and energy efficiency.

The company was founded in 1951 in East-WestPhalia by Heinz Schürmann. Since 1964, Schüco has been a subsidiary of OTTO FUCHS KG. Also, the organization has a presence in over 80 countries and the headquarters are in Bielefeld, Germany.

Additionally, over 12,000 fabricators, developers, architects and investors globally work with Schüco. That is made possible by a team of over 5650 employees worldwide.

Lastly, Schüco was founded in the UK in 1984 and currently has about 127 employees. The corporation is located on Whitehall Avenue, Kingston, Milton Keynes and they have an office on Great Portland Street London W1W 6QW.

And in case you’re wondering...

Why Schüco?

The enterprise is built on a foundation of innovation, partnership, excellence and responsibility. As a result, Schüco systems are recognized globally for their superior performance, security, style, a combination of beautiful aesthetics and perfect functionality.

The Schüco group creates products for both residential and commercial buildings. In detail, the company develops and sells solutions for windows, doors, facades, sun shading, security technology and sliding systems. As a building envelope specialist, Schüco also offers consultation and digital solutions from ideation, design, fabrication to installation in a building project.

And guess what?

Schüco has a technology centre located in Bielefeld, Germany. This establishment is one of the world’s largest test centres for window, door and facade technology. The centre plays a critical role in product development by ensuring quality, reliability and durability of all Schüco products.

Let’s look at this technology centre in detail:

It started as a testing department in 1967 and is certified by the German Accreditation Body. As from 2005, the centre can now carry out laboratory tests for the whole building envelope. Again, over 40 employees carry out hundreds of tests annually, from small components to complete facade units.

But that’s not all. Since the autumn of 2014, the Schüco technology centre remains the only test laboratory in the industry for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

Finally, Schüco is taking responsibility for climate protection. In other words, the organization is striving to be carbon neutral across its entire value chain by 2040.

Going forward

Remarkable buildings are our passion. Together with our partners, the mission entails creating structures that last.

Schüco is a technological leader for the entire building envelope. That’s why we embraced the precision of German manufacturing to ensure quality, efficiency and reliability across every project we work on.

To put it another way:

Nueco is proud to be a Schüco approved partner. Our team is trained to fabricate and install Schüco systems inclusive of windows, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, sliding and bi-fold doors.
